Meet sweet, loving, little Bindi. 

She arrived at her foster home, unsure of everything around her. Loud noises and fast movement made her shy away. She responds well to calm, soft spoken cues & commands. If things get loud she no longer runs but will jump up on the couch and access the situation until she realizes that everything is okay. She is simply waiting for assurance. Bindi is finding her inner confidence each day, she runs, plays and holds her tail up high. A sign of a happy pup!

She is great with cats and other dogs. She is open to greeting new people and is quite comfortable with making herself at home on anyone's lap if they let her. She is not food aggressive but can get a bit over eager with jumping in front of her fur friends to try and get a treat. She's working very hard at learning to wait her turn but as one can imagine, its not so easy when you've gone without and were so thin your bones & spine were protruding. 

Bindi is not house trained but is excellent with using a pee pad. She needs someone who will take the time to teach her to ask to go out and understand its a matter of routine. She is also good with being crated, however she has not had to be crated since learning to use the pad. 

Her dream day would consist of being snuggled and sleeping on your lap if you'd let her and at night to be tucked in under the covers.

The ideal home for Bindi would better suit older children, such as teens. Toddlers and younger children would be a lot of stress on her. 

This little girl is full of personality and would take all the love she can get.
