Our special little Hazel is visually impaired. Our vet believes she was born with this impairment and there is no corrective option to help repair her sight. Hazel can see shadows, light and dark and uses her other senses very well to compensate. Her mobility is not hindered by this set back and she is a delightful little dog. She is great with other dogs, afraid of cats, house and crate trained. She is timid when first meeting new people understandably but warms quickly when safety is assured. Hazel is best be suited for a single retired but active women who has a big heart, patience, empathy, secure fenced area and would enjoy a great little companion dog!
