Dot came to OLHARS in August 2018 as a owner surrender with some challenging learned behavioral issues. Breeder was contacted prior to surrender but not interested in taking her back. Her previous family worked hard with professional trainers to try to eliminate some of Dot's delinquent stubborn behavioral episodes but without an alpha presents in the home Dot would resist correction and thus continue to get her own way. Today we are happy to report Dot is ready to begin the search for a new forever home. Dot will require a home with an alpha leader, someone who is not afraid of firm correction. Dot needs a leader who is strong, confident and experienced. Dot can live with other larger dogs but it is not recommend she be placed with other small pets. Dot enjoys children and is people friendly but she will be best suited for a adult only home or single gentlemen who is looking for a fun and loyal companion. Dot is great in the car, house trained, good on the leash but will require a fenced yard to keep her happy and safe. Serious breed experienced inquires only please.
