Puppy came to us with his name. One of 11 dogs surrendered to the kill shelter by one family who were facing homelessness and could no longer care for their dogs. All other nine, all the young ones were swooped up immediately by local rescue leaving Puppy and Pooch behind to face certain death. We knew their fate and would not leave them to be the only ones in the group that didn't make it out. We made a great save. Puppy is friendly, obedient, well balanced and still a great companion dog who will love you more than you could ever image.
