My name is Lexi!

I am a 2 year old timid spayed female little Chihuahua mix who is just finding my way in this big old scary world.

I am sweet, affectionate but also very shy and submissive. My foster family has been working with me over the last few months reassuring me that all is not bad.

When I first came to rescue no one could catch me let alone touch me. I was so scared. Now I'm a big girl and love my cuddles, kisses, belly rubs and couch time!

I am a funny little quirky girl with big personality!!! I love other dogs and make no messes in the house. I do not like the collar or leash very much right now but like all good things this too will come with practice. I am working hard on adjusting to life as a dog so I am searching for that special someone who can help take me to the next plateau and continue building my confidence.

I am looking for that special someone who has empathy, compassion, love and patience. I need to learn trust and security, I can not be rushed. I want everything other good dogs have but I just need someone who will care enough to teach and love me the way I deserve. Maybe that is you?
