This friendly, happy young long hair Dachshund mix is smiling now thanks to being rescued from a high kill shelter where he his future was very, very bleak.

Marco is having a great time mingling with his foster family and their pack. He is very dog savvy and gets along with most. He is house and crate trained making easy adjustment to a new home. 

Marco will best suite an active family or a semi retired couple who can spend lots of time with him if no other dog in the home. Marco loves to work for treats and is beginning to learn how to dance for them! He's a clever boy who catches on quickly and enjoys mastering the command.

Marco does excite when he is stimulated so apartment or strata living isn't for him.
