Owner turning in because of a recent death in the family and they are now difficultly finding somewhere to live where they allow pets.  Adopted him from the shelter a year and a half ago as a puppy.

"Tux" was raised by a young child. He is a good dog by himself and is great with other dogs. 

Owner states that he is great with children and babies. (There is a 3 year old in the home that he grew up with) 

"Tux" is housebroken and crate trained. He will sit by the door and wait for you to let him out.

He LOVES baths and any water. 

Placement Assessment: Tux is a very people orientated dog. He listens and looks for direction from whomever he is with. Tux knows his name well and will sit when commanded. Loves to go for walks, enjoys belly rubs, scratches behind his ears, and has no negative reaction to touching his face, ears, tail etc! With consistent and proper direction Tux will be a great running /walking/hiking companion. Tux is a shelter and rescue favorite. Very sweet and fun dog!
